Mike Massie Gone With The Twins The budget for this particular entry feels more limited than that of its ambitious brethren, appearing noticeably like a made-for-television undertaking. georgan g This was an uneven film. When "dad" is finally revealed it's pretty good. And hey, there is Randy Quaid performing, *before* he went off the deep end. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Keep in mind it's a made for TV movie in that regard it is not that bad .. above average cash and acting ! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member 'The Day the World Ended' is competently made, with good special effects and decent acting, but unfortunately it doesn't hold any surprises or particularly great moments. If you're a fan of the type of comics or TV series it was based on (House of Mysteries, Eerie and Creepy, Tales from the Crypt and the Twilight Zone for example) it's worth checking out, but it's in no better or worse than any one of the 'alright' episodes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Good effects, descent story, lackluster execution Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty lame but not a total waste. There were some good special effects and some suspenseful moments, but it just wasn't entirely successful. Nice attempt, Randy Quaid does fine. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The idea of The Day the World Ended was simple but somewhat interesting. It's a decent movie with a pretty neat alien (actually it's a figment of the boys imagination, as you realize at the end of the film). Worth wasting some of your time over.
