Carlos T Oct 17 Filme: Monte Walsh Assistido: 16-10-25 Elenco: @tomselleckfanclub @isabellarossellini @therobertcarradir @george_eads.official @totalzackward @realbarrycorbin @johnmichaelhiggins Modelo: #faroeste #drama #cowboys Duração: 2hs Ano: 2003 Minha opinião: Um faroeste com Tom Selleck, onde ele interpreta um cowboy, onde esta sendo um dos últimos, bem na virada do século, como também aconteceu com os samurais. O filme retrata a vida do cowboy e que eles tinha as regras e estilo de vida. Mas neste periodo cada vez mais os cowboys estavam acabando e muitos se encontravam perdidos. Neste filme também temos romance de Monte (Selleck) e Martines (Rossellini), mais uma pelo fato dele não querer deixar de ser cowboy não podia casar, assim ele nunca assumiu Martines e ela morreu de pneumonia e Monte ficou arrasadou, pensando se tomou a melhor decisão. Decisão também que ele se cobrou, quando Short (eads) ele poderia ter eliminado ele pelo fato de roubar gado, mas o deixou ir. E logo depois Short mata seu melhor amigo Chet. E na busca de vingaça e eliminar parte da culpa que carrega, vai atras de Short para acertar as contas. Ele elimina Short mas é baleado. Mas ressurge depois de 7 anos e sem deixar de cowboy solitário. Vale apena assistir? Um filme gostoso de assistir, onde vemos como é o estilo de vida dos Cowboys e seu lema. So what do they do for work when all they know is riding and roping? Crime? Aimless drifting and odd jobs? Reminds me of today as we have moved into the digital age and many cannot change from their manual labor jobs. Nothing in the way of plot thickening or senseless violence got shoved in my face and it was satirical. Well done. See more 10/01/2022 If there's a Western movie that has every single cliche of, well, Western movies this is it. The story is so-so with some fine performances. I liked Tom Selleck a great deal in the Sackett brothers TV movies and several other movies, but then, those storylines were originally written by Zane Grey and Louis L'Amour. The writer of this screen play was no Grey or L'Amour.
