steve d Far too much going on that has nothing to do with its stars but when they are on screen it is a lot of fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review william k To be honest, don't let the credentials fool you: directed by John MacKenzie and starring Michael Keaton and Michael Caine this is nevertheless just an average (and very predictable) late night thriller. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member (**): Too far-fetched for me. Fair at best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Plot is fun, if a bit predictable. Michael Caine's phones it in; Michael Keaton gives a very wooden performance -- he can't do drama; he's a light comedy guy...Kathleen Wilhoite as Keaton's secretary is the only actor here who's really working hard -- everyone else seems to be sleepwalking, esp. the dull bad guys. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member An average thriller that was engaging at times! Nothing special but watchable! Xander Berkley looked hot!!!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Certainly not a terrible movie in my books! I love Michael Caine with his witty english humour, which i very much enjoyed. If your looking for a simple enough plot with an okay storyline but with quick a bit of action then this will keep you amused! Chuck O'Leary FulvueDrive-in.com Caine admits in the DVD interviews that he did this forgettable thriller as an excuse to spend the winter in the South of France. Keaton's nowhere to be found in the interview section as if he was embarrassed to have been involved. Rated: 3/10 Feb 16, 2006 Full Review Christopher Null Filmcritic.com Even fans of either Michael will find themselves alternately confused and bored out of their skulls.
