Audience Member Seems like a bit of overacting but feelings explained in a glass shattering way...amazing Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member It is one of the most beautiful Hindi movies I have watched. Raj Kapoor's finesse as a director is evident in the intensity and stunning visuals of the scenes. His Pran and Premnath's Gopal are well very well-etched characters and the contrast and camaraderie between them is well displayed by the efficient performances by the two actors. The female characters are far less developed, but Nargis manages to make an otherwise uninteresting village belle role interesting. The same, however, could not be said about Nimmi whose naivete became a bit too annoying after a while. Songs are truly evegreen. My favorite has to be the leitmotif, which was actually copied from an English song called the "Waves of the Danube" by Josef Ivanovici. The tune heightens the natural Raj-Nargis chemistry on screen. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member a beautiful movie...worth watchin a million times Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I had the chance to watch this film and I will say it is one of the most fascinating and brilliant films of hindi cinema Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
