Abe A Had to fast forward towards the end. Last Japanese movie I'll be watching. So bad, it hurt. I understand the plot, the storyline, even the semi-epic nature of Ishikawa's journey, but this was just complete dross, almost unwatchable. Zero character development--no understanding of Ishikawa's motives--the whole thing was just an utter mess. Cartoonish, lacks subtlety and is terribly boring.
