Audience Member This had about a 10-minute stretch of looking up toward the end, the rest was nondescript. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Touching and tragic movie about a brother and sister who immigrate to the United States. It shows the struggles that immigrants face along with the horrors of prostitution. Tragic and sad, but very good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member (***): Well-acted and effective movie on the horrors some go through in regards to immigration into the U.S. Good script but hampered by an ending that seems tacked on. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Lana’s Rain was a breath of fresh air in the midst of Hollywood excess and stomach turning glamour. The movie was not flawless; however, precisely this imperfection attracted me the most. It managed to deliver reality as it is, unattractive, unfiltered and painful with no sugar on top. The actors, Nick Stoilov and Oksana Orlenko, delivered an emotional drama with many twists and turns that captured people’s attention from beginning to end. Two thumbs up.
