      Critics Consensus

Overloaded with pop culture references, but lacking in compelling characters and plot, Doogal is too simpleminded even for the kiddies.

Ethan W "Doogal" is a charming animated adventure that takes viewers on a whimsical journey filled with colourful characters and imaginative landscapes. While the plot may be simple, its playful humour and heartwarming moments make it an enjoyable watch for families looking for a fun-filled adventure. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review ana luisa u Loa animación es mala los personajes son olvidables y horribles y el humor terrible y no creer que esta versión americana de doogal es un 2.2 de 10 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review Jordan This movie is s****y too Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/21/23 Full Review Donovan K This movie is so bad it's great. I fell asleep the first time I watched it, it's a experience you'll never forget. I recommend it to everyone. Everyone should see this piece of art at least once. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review Aiden A Honestly, I think this is actually a very good film because every five seconds is gonna be a pop culture reference, which makes the film funnier to me along with a couple other people that have seen this film and the pop culture references that I can come up with that are in this film include but I'm not limited to Dairy Queen, King Kong, Thomas the Tank Engine, the apprentice, the Smurfs, Looney Tunes, Frosty the Snowman, Pirates of the Caribbean, the shining Ice Age the meltdown, dazed and confused the little engine that could the Nutcracker, the Lord of the rings, Dr. Phil and as well as can't touch this even Indiana Jones in the Temple of doom to name a few. I mean the British film is good too just like the American version in my opinion, that is even considering the fact that Harvey Weinstein saw the British film and thought it was great and decided to make this American version with the creator of the fairly odd parents and Danny phantom. Literally. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review dalia m im upset because of this movie it made me genuinely perplexed. Jason Anderson Globe and Mail The slapdash dialogue and smug vocal talent detract from the visual appeal of the most energetic sequences (like a raucous train chase) and what's left of Danot's designs. Rated: 2/4 Jun 4, 2008 Full Review Christy Lemire Associated Press The laziest, most disheartening kind of animated children's film. Apr 13, 2006 Full Review Steve Davis Austin Chronicle A wretched experience from start to finish. Rated: 0.5/5 Mar 11, 2006 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Young audiences should be spared its obnoxious droning presence. Apr 29, 2009 Full Review Tom Meek Boston Phoenix Too often those behind the slick 3-D animation spectacles aimed at children imbue them with too much adult humor. Rated: 2/4 Apr 23, 2009 Full Review Frank Lovece Film Journal International A delight for very young children and any parent who'll get the Attorney General joke of "Geneva Convention? I don't care if it's a Star Trek convention!" Feb 6, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews
