John Monaghan Detroit Free Press It would be easy to dismiss The Seat Filler as a by-the-numbers romantic comedy, the only difference being its mostly black cast. Rated: 2/4 Sep 8, 2005 Full Review Kam Williams Black Book News Females take it on the chin with the description of one as "a snaggle-toothed crack-head with four baby-daddies." Worse, it is suggested to the protagonist that dating a prostitute would be a step up for him. Sorry, no redeeming qualities. Rated: 0/4 May 11, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews
