      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Hampered by pretension and undermined by unlikable characters, London proves that the novelty of seeing actors play against type isn't enough to rescue a deeply flawed film.

Kyle L Let's be clear, this is a massively underrated film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review misa w The Argument Scenes were realistic and it's a movie you'd enjoy if you want to watch older movies. Also the fashion was amazing, Movie was also captured nicely. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review The J I can't really blame the critics of this movie, given some of the more formulaic conversations, somehow replacing for instance real depth with really bad supposedly fascinating dialogue on what you can buy at a sex dungeon, etc. When in fact it is the most boring conversation ever, and not nearly as interesting as say 10 seconds of dialogue by Chuck Palahniuk which has more originality in that 10 seconds then the entirety of London. So i get why the critics are ripping this movie apart. Having said that, there is always something real in the way that Chris Evans carries a character. I can't help but root for the guy.... especially here were for most of the movie he is continually kicked... Then Jessica Biel is absolutely mesmerizing as usual, and even the rawness of Jason Stathom makes some of what should be horrible scenes based on really bad dialogue for some reason still interesting. In the end though, if it wasn't for the final scenes, i would not have given the film anything above a 50% rating, but i did like the ending, and the dialogue car was somewhat redeeming. Not enough for me to actually recommend the movie, but if you find yourself watching it, if you have made it to at least over half the movie, I'd say to finish it, may be worth it in the end. But if you haven't started then there is likely no reason to begin watching... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Audience Member Hidden Gem- captures you & loved the dialogue. Go for it!
