steve d Passable but nothing new or memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Rich S Before he was fighting crime, Peter Falk was causing it as Abe "Kid Twist" Reles. This is an "Untouchables"-like retelling of Reles' confessions that led to the first execution of a crime boss. Falk sears as Reles and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 33rd Academy Awards. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/15/20 Full Review Audience Member Very good film. Peter Falk and David J. Stewart delivering knockout acts. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member ... the film mixes hard facts and Hollywood romanticism to create an entertaining, if somewhat trifling, piece of violent fluff. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Murder Inc is hurt by its narration and boring characters. It doesn't hold on to their characters for longer than they have too which is interesting for a 1960 film. Other than that it is just a ordinary crime film that is famous for Peter Falks amazing performance as a gangster. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Good old fashioned American gangster movie with Peter Falk (of the Colombo fame) doing a great job as a despicable bad guy! Jonas Mekas Village Voice Finnerty has a complete mastery of himself, and a relaxation which in some ways is to be appreciated more in movies than in the theatre. Jul 27, 2021 Full Review Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine The picture is too long and its tempo sometimes drags. But Falk's acute performance and a number of vivid period touches give the audience a graphic idea of what things were like in the U. S. underworld of the 1930s.
