Looking to make money and bolster his street cred, Abe Reles (Peter Falk) goes to work for New York City racketeer Louis "Lepke" Bucholter. Along with fellow thug Bug Workman (Warren Finnerty), Abe uses his ties to married entertainers Joey (Stuart Whitman) and Eadie Collins (May Britt) to close in on a murder target. Before he was fighting crime, Peter Falk was causing it as Abe "Kid Twist" Reles. This is an "Untouchables"-like retelling of Reles' confessions that led to the first execution of a crime boss. Falk sears as Reles and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 33rd Academy Awards.

Murder Inc is hurt by its narration and boring characters. It doesn't hold on to their characters for longer than they have too which is interesting for a 1960 film. Other than that it is just a ordinary crime film that is famous for Peter Falks amazing performance as a gangster.
