Audience Member Follows the already old cliche of a murderous hick family with human remains scattered all over their farmhouse. Actually, this movie mostly rips off The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it even includes kids in a car, driving through a small town, crashing the car, coming by some tormented woman who "escaped" from the main villains. Oh, there's even a chainsaw scene in this one. Must I describe the movie more? The acting was horrible, the plot was extremely cliched and stupid, the special effects standard for a low budget slasher flick. Maybe the only good thing about this movie are the DVD-cover art and it's tagline, which I must confess were the only reason I even rented this crap. The Butcher is only notable for the fact that it's main characters are even more despicable and worthy of dead than most flat horror movie characters.
