When Dark Ride goes for the throat, it has some fun. The rest of the time it's rather insulting. Go to Full Review

Miriany R @mcrplsh Sep 23 Definitely made more of an impact when I first watched it back in the 2010's, for this 2025 rewatch seemed a bit predictable, would be interesting to know what someone who's watching for the first time thinks. See more angela g 12/02/2024 dark ride was a whole lot better than dead tone don't get why people hate this movie but i like this movie cool twist at the ending. See more 04/08/2023 Terrible.. the trailer led me to believe it would have much more substance and story than what it turned out to be. An 8 foot tall deformed psycho kills twin girls on the dark ride in the beginning, then is sent to a mental asylum. He breaks out 20 years later and makes his way back to the long-shuttered ride at the exact time that a group of college-age kids also makes there way there and breaks into the ride one night. From there, you can easily imagine the rest. They try to throw in a twist/surprise, but it’s easily spotted early on and doesn’t lend any credibility to the story. Might as well skip to the end to see who lives (if anyone) or just turn it off. It’s all stupid, not to mention how the hell a huge deformed psycho could possibly make his way anywhere, let alone across the state, without being seen and captured immediately. Had it involved more of the story upon which it was set, it could’ve been interesting. It could’ve been much more as a mystery thriller than whatever they call this mess they made. I have NO IDEA how there are people out there who rate movies like this 4.5 and 5 out of 5 stars! By that measure, I’d find it hard to believe those people could give any movie fewer than 3 stars. See more 07/31/2021 Cool effects are all it really has going for it. Classic throw unlikable characters into horror locations, and watch them get picked off. Nothing surprising to it, including the ending which was clear as day to predict if you paid attention.
