Evan Williams The Australian There are many funny moments and some pleasing suspense towards the end, but as a cautionary tale about the dangers of overeating and obesity it's more likely to boost sales at the candy bar. That may be one good reason for watching it at home. Rated: 3/5 Jun 27, 2014 Full Review David Stratton At the Movies (Australia) Writer-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have expanded a 30-page children's book by Judi and Ron Barrett into a 3D animated feature which boasts intricate design and goofy humour. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 26, 2009 Full Review Philippa Hawker The Age (Australia) Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs is visually inventive and exuberant, and has some neat running gags. But its characterisations are a little disappointing. Rated: 3/5 Nov 26, 2009 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a fun, larger-than-life premise that is, at the outset, employed to compulsively watchable effect... Rated: 2/4 Jun 18, 2024 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand Director/writer team Phil Lord and Chris Miller cobble a story around the storybook’s premise but it’s the whimsical imagery of raining hamburgers, a Jell-O mold castle, an ice-cream winter wonderland, and a spaghetti tornado that carries the film. Feb 4, 2023 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Offers a hearty mix of humor that will appeal to nearly every age group. Rated: 8/10 Nov 28, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Lucas I like the 3-D animation they used for this movie, and I loved the sound animation that they used in the movie Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Ryland C A classic childhood movie that I still love to this day! In fact it’s so good that it made me hungrier and hungrier for food whenever I re watch it. I wish I was Flint Lockwood that made a food machine except I would be much smarter than him and not add an over mutation meter. Definitely watch it. You won’t regret it. 🍔🌭🌮🌯🥙🥗🥪🍕🍟🍖🍗🥓🍱🥘🧆🍲🍛🍜🍝🍣🍤🍿🥟🍳🥞🧇🍪🍩🧁🍦🍨🍧🍮🥧🍰🎂🍭🍫🍬🍆🍑🍓🍒🥑🍌🍎🍊🍍🍋🥥🥚🧀🥜🥔🍇🍉🥝🥯🍞🥩🥦🥖🥒🍯🥕🌽🍡🥨🍏🍅🍘🥬🍚🥐🦐🍈🍙🥣🍢🥡🫘🥢🥠🍐🌰🍥🫕🫔🥫🍋‍🟩🍄‍🟫🦪🫐🫚🫒🧅🧄🥮🫛🍠🧂🫑🫓🌶️🍽️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/24 Full Review Josiah C I watched this when I was 9 and those stupid rotisserie chickens scared me to the point where I couldn't go into a dark area at night alone for a solid year. Every time I felt like I was about to sleep, the first 15 seconds or so of either the "Inside the Meatball" or "The Spaghetti Twister" soundtracks would keep me awake for hours as I lay there, quite literally paralyzed by the idea that I might be turned into fecal matter by a sentient rotisserie chicken, until I somehow managed to fall asleep. This was so bad that my mom banned me from listening to the soundtrack of this movie. That being said, looking back on it without the veil of unthinkable terror, the soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece, up there with Michael Giacchino's other great works like The Incredibles and Rogue One. The voice acting is also great and the visuals are quite pleasing. I'd give this movie a solid 5 stars if it wasn't for the literal trauma those chickens caused me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review Null This movie is a classic. The second one is definitely better, but this one is also a must watch. A heartfelt story that is amazing for the whole family. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Ciaran S Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs may have some heartfelt moments but the story is super clique with cheap writing, the animation can be colorful epically with the food but the character animation & character design are so unbearable to watch that it makes you send a chill up your spine and while the characters like Steve, Tim Lockwood, Officer Earl & Manny are the only memorable ones i can at least think of the rest are just really annoying, completely pointless, dumb & forgettable. Even the cast (with the exception of Mr. T, Neil Patrick Harris & James Cann) didn't even try with their performances, Bruce Campbell, Andy Samberg, Anna Faris...seriously? And as much as I liked Bill Hader in movies like in Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, Trainwreck, Night At The Museum 2, Inside Out, Forgetting Sarah Marshall & in Superbad his performance as a whole feels like a complete waste. Why this film is loosely based on the 1978 book of the same name is beyond me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Idan Charles L This is pretty damm good 👍 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
