Reuben G I think some might come to this movie with one thing in mind: OMG IS THAT DONALD GLOVER AKA CHILDISH GAMBINO YOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOY. And for me thats exactly what I thought, but just because he is in this doesn't mean its good, it's great! I have shown this and recommended this to so many people I know and weather if i'm showing clips or trailers of the movie or watching the whole thing with them, I have yet to find someone who doesn't like this, as I really enjoyed this movie, and in some ways, I consider this a stupider and more indie version of 'Dumb & Dumber' with a completely different and refreshing story, and I love every second of this movie, and this ins't me hating on Dumb & Dumber, it's also a great movie, but well, hopefully you get the idea. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Ben H I think they had a fun time making this movie and it shows. Its so silly, plenty of adult humor while also maintaining its whimsy. I really loved it, it was a fun ride full of laughter. Been a while since a movie made me laugh out loud that much. Phooey to the lack of a star studded cast, a lot of these new faces did a great job of keeping the movie alive and Donald Glover proved why Troy is such a memorable character in Community. Just discovered this movie and I want to tell all my friends. It was fucking hilarious Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Todd R A perfect comedy. Seen so many times. Always makes me crack up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review Weston T Moss wants a mouthful of Donald Glover Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a lot of fun! A young Donald Glover leads the way. It has plenty of raunchy laughs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review ryan s 3.5/5. It's low budget and a little long, but Mystery Team is a fun movie with a great cast. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Mark Olsen Los Angeles Times A pleasant, charming knockabout with a playfully imaginative sense of wit and a pleasingly assured visual style. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 12, 2010 Full Review Ty Burr Boston Globe Smutty, silly, groan-worthy in many places, inexplicably hilarious in others, Mystery Team is a guilty pleasure -- a deeply dumb movie made by pretty smart people. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 28, 2010 Full Review Daniel M. Gold New York Times Not surprisingly, especially for a movie heavy on college humor, the results are hit-and-miss. Some bits fall thuddingly flat, and the characters are rarely more than stick figures. Rated: 2.5/5 Dec 4, 2009 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Although it's incredibly silly, the humor is undeniable. Rated: 7/10 Nov 29, 2020 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Happily, even when the shock wears off... remains funny, thanks to the decision to make its three hapless, stuck-in-adolescence detectives totally naïve and untouched by all the depravity. Rated: 3/5 Nov 27, 2018 Full Review Peter Sciretta Slashfilm Mystery Team has the potential to be huge. It's funnier and more original than 99% of the comedies Hollywood releases now-a-days.
