Audience Member Boring, unpredictable ending, and didn't use clear storytelling. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member cool little movie. quirky and shows off some interesting spots in the city (Riverdale). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Make me smile that only in Canadian works can profanity come off as unforced. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Maybe because it's set in Toronto, but I thought it was quite good, well acted, quirky - nice how they made Cabbagetown so creepy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A huge disappointment. I had never heard of the film, but the premise was promising, and I was looking forward to a little Canadian cinema. Well, the movie is broken into 4 parts tied together by a lost immigrant boy who happens to appear in each to some minor degree. And that pissed me off. Because the only real connection between the 4 parts is this boy, even though the descriptions seem to indicate something more, which was part of the reason I was interested. Each story has its merits, though none is terribly interesting. Each are directed by different directors, and they all have their own style and focus, and the performances are fine. I just felt a little duped, and I likely wouldn't have seen or cared if these were separate or if the description was more accurate. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent movie! Beautiful shots of our amazing city. Eclectic cast of characters with intermingling stories that are funny, heart warming and personal. Highly recommended. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
