See more 06/10/2009 Almost Heaven stars Donal Logue as Mark Brady, an always drunk, washed-up director who is given one last chance to direct a Canadian Fishing show, which will be shot in Scotland. But the show stars his ex-wife, Taya Honeywell (played by Joely Collins). While there he meets a head-strong, female ghillie Nicki McAdam( played by Kirsty Mitchell)and falls in love despite himself. I really enjoyed this movie. The characters are funny and loveable and the movie is very entertaining. Great supporting roles by Tom Conti as the local barkeeper and Erin Karluk(Being Erika) as assistant Katherine.
