corkball Oh this is cheesy all right... about what you would expect from the trailer. Acting and dialogue are all bad. But at the same time, the cheesiness of the bad guys and lack of dialogue actually make them more creepy. I actually had fun here. Yeah, it is completely implausible, but it is a fun Mad Max type rip off. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This was absolutely pathetic. Acting was shit. Storyline was no better. Don't waste any sleep on this one. Both thumbs down Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Actually not as terrible as I was expecting... It's an okay survival action time waster. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A simple bus journey turns into an American slaughter that is bloody and dramatic. The usual American stupid group mentality comes across well, with each individual causing more harm to the group than would normally be possible in any other civilized country. The lack of leadership and general first aid, lead to the typical nasty end which is as always entertaining. Nibbles: Liver and Onions. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Exit Speed is what a modern Mad Max film would look like as a movie of the week. Looks good and has a fantastic concept for a film especially for an indenpendent action film but suffers from vanilla dialogue, terrible music and never goes far enough in terms of the death, destruction and mayhem this kind of situation would truly produce. It's the kind of thing you'd likely have found in the television show Jericho for one episode only double the length. While this was most likely intentional, if this wasn't made for television, I think the film missed the boat. While being entertaining for what it is (especially so if in fact MOW fare) more violence, gore, cursing, and a gritty look to the film would have opened it up to possibly be something to recommend to fans of horror, action and cult films. As it stands, Exit Speed is made-for-tv quality from a film that all signs point to it being intended for theatrical release. Clearly a missed opportunity even if the film is technically sound. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member good plot, poor execution. stopped watching after 37 minutes, the acting was ok, but everything else was poor, It seemed like they were fighting off zombies, more than crazy bikers which never spoke , also when people get shot at, before the 30 minute mark the people on the bus were too calm. Not worth watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
