Jeremiah Kipp Slant Magazine This lazy reimagining of a terse Stephen King short story drags itself through the horror paces, with a predictable slow build toward a couple of splashy gore sequences Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 15, 2020 Full Review Walter Chaw Film Freak Central None of it feels either inexorable or cruelly arbitrary. Children of the Corn '09 plays the notes but doesn't hear the music, and the improvised bits are deadly to the cohesion of the piece. Rated: 2/4 Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is Borcher took the only redeeming qualities the original had and made them worse, but decided to keep the worst aspect of it, how utterly boring it was. Rated: 1/5 Mar 1, 2021 Full Review Amie Gibb TV Equals I understand that you can't always expect Oscar worthy performances in horror flicks, so when I say the acting is pretty bad, keep in mind that I had realistically low expectations. Jan 15, 2020 Full Review Scott "The Foywonder" Foy Dread Central Good cinematography. It hits the right grim tone. Otherwise, about as enjoyable as getting a popcorn seed stuck in your teeth. Rated: 1/5 Jan 15, 2020 Full Review Mark H. Harris Black Horror Movies [A] stinker. Rated: 1.8/5 Jan 2, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review Chey A A H The 2009 remake's not bad but it's not good ether. The wife and husband fight in the car Issac and Malachi aren't creepy those kids weren't even scary and what's really fucked up A guy n girl having sex infont 9 10 & 12 year kids in a church. They loved it very disturbing! Again not the best movie of the series but my favorite part is when the wife gets blown up. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/12/23 Full Review robert p What a cheap and disgusting movie this was, it did not hold my attention! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member an afternoon "sick at home" kinda movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review steve d cheap looking, scare free remake or a forgettable original. This is one of King's weakest stories that just won't go away. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The only thing bad about this movie is the wife she the worst of all im glad she got blown up in the car. The husband wasn't great but hes nothing like her ethier. those kids wern't creepy like in the original. Issac's not even scary but atleast he's cute Malachi's covered in blood making him look crazy. The husband and wife both die at the end hung up on crosses like scarecrows with corn in their eyes. Theres even a sex scene where a guy and girl fuck in the church infront of kids that are like 8 10 and 12 years old! They wern't really watching it happen but its still Fucked up and the kids loved it. This wasn't that bad of a movie just a bad wife. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
