streng g some Good some Ok. overall the Best Halo Show. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Audience Member Sorry. This didn't work for me. Maybe it stems from the fact that most of my Halo knowledge comes from reading Wikipedia articles since I'm a PlayStation person or maybe it's some of the anime tropes that bug me, even if it's only the aptly-named non-canon segment that behaves the most like a stereotypical anime but The Animatrix, this is not. Don't get me wrong, there were some good segments with really good action, the world-building is guaranteed to tickle fanboys' fancy and I do commend "The Duel" for its unusual art style. But the English voice-acting is stilted, the animation is stiff outside of fight scenes - though that just seems to be an anime thing in general - , some of the characters are absolutely unlikable and Halo newbies are not welcome here. At least this anthology knows its audience. I didn't want to dislike Halo Legends and even did the necessary research to understand this universe but I thought that this was one of the weaker entries in the anthology subgenre of anime that also includes Animatrix and Gotham Knight. Too bad, Master Chief :( Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review MrJurassic Y This is how you deliver to both long time fans and returning fans of the franchise. This needs to be remastered in some way or form in the near future nearing "Halo Infinte's" release. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/16/21 Full Review Audience Member Yeah. Not Bad For Halo Fans a must. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member It's many shorts about the halo verse, not typical movie format but it gets the job done. Some of these shorts were kinda meh tough! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review adam b Other than the non-canon short that seemed pointless and out of place, the other 6 short films are awesome for halo fans. Although most of the short films were side stories that aren't hinted or talked about in past games, they still added to the overall canon and established a few new interesting characters. Not the BIGGEST anime fan but each short film was truly beautiful (notably "The Duel") and it seemed like each short was hinged to the Halo universe. Definitely a must see for Halo fans Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
