Audience Member UK version of Singles on a low budget...they form a band, singer falls for the bassist, get record contract, love wins....good acting, great music, shit ending that makes you wonder if it was just a waste of time watching it...... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing special on paper, but the story is so well delivered that I can't help but love it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This is all dumb drummers; loud guitars; cool glasses and skinny teens in skinny jeans. An unabashed celebration of indie in its most recognisable form, ‘1234’ is unlikely to make many converts but will appeal to anyone who loves being in a record shop. A simple tale of homemade rock ’n’ roll romance takes place in a series of rehearsal studios, pub back rooms and call centres. It’s heartfelt, nicely written, and entertaining, though the the hipper-than-thou namedropping is a bit tiresome (and goes over my head). Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member 4 twenty sometings form a band and want to be noticed, learning there material and fighting in the band, along with personal friendships re opened up, a honest film with a brisk running time help this along grately, a low budget efort, filmed on dv, knows what it wants to say, the acting is naturally brought across, and the film never bores, a film dealing well with hardship of wanting to make it in the business in london Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member an interesting film about a guy trying to make into the big time by changing bands n ditching his friends so he can. worth the watch Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad. Amber Wilkinson Eye for Film The young cast has a natural air that complements the unforced scripting, which brims with an enviable amount of casual humour. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 4, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
