Audience Member I thought this was great. It was inspirational and the energy in all the performers was amazing. It is one of the best documentaries I've seen and the best concert film I've seen. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Executive produced by Paul McCartney, the documentary follows the behind-the-scenes decisionmarking, preparation and execution of the 12-12-12 Concert at Madison Square Garden. Each of the musical artists are shown performing at least one song and there is quite a bit of footage of the backstage area. A must-see for fans of the 12-12-12 concert and its artists. Kyle Smith New York Post An unusually compelling keepsake from what might well be the last time many of these '60s rockers perform together. Rated: 3/4 Nov 15, 2013 Full Review Stephen Holden New York Times Adam Sandler's uproarious off-color parody of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" injects the film with an inspired note of raucous comedy that undercuts any pretensions to solemnity. Nov 14, 2013 Full Review John Anderson Newsday Good-natured, upbeat, pretty predictable account of a concert cast with a lot of the usual suspects. Rated: 3/4 Nov 14, 2013 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens We are America. We come together. We survive and we thrive. 12-12-12 shows us just that. Jan 7, 2020 Full Review Michael Dequina TheMovieReport.com For all the music and immediately surrounding sideshow, the film never loses sight of why this whole event was staged in the first place.
