Taylor Would of liked to see what happened to everyone in the end and what the aftermath was like make a second one Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/21 Full Review David Good acting, story lines, great tornado affects as we live just a few miles of where part of movie filmed and regularly have tornados in our area. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/06/21 Full Review Dave H Not another stupid over the top Hollywood tornado movie. It’s focused on the characters and how real people in a small towns lives get turned upside down with a disaster. I liked the references to what to do and what not to do related to sever weather. It was a little slow at times and too much time was spent on the social issues part in my opinion. Still worth a watch but I’d wait for the stream. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/03/21 Full Review Lynne B Didn't like the ending. Seem to go backwards in the story. Loved the special effects and story lines. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/31/21 Full Review Gary Intense. Explored several contemporary social issues along with a suspenseful plot. Reminds us that despite all our technology and innovations, Mother Nature still reigns supreme. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/31/21 Full Review Sai M This was a solid movie on the family dynamics and the setup to get people acquainted with each of the families in the town that is hit by a massive tornado. It wasn't as good as something like Twister where a major disaster film is concerned on the aspect of the characters being invested in storm chasing but rather about how families and communities assaulted by mother nature's fury can work together to overcome it and what it looks like when a community is wiped to the ground by a destructive and unstoppable force. Alisha Mughal Globe and Mail Insofar as its saccharine, Lifetime-movie-esque depiction of the bigness of small-town lives, 13 Minutes works. But as a disaster movie, it fails. Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter This effort will satisfy neither those looking for sensitive, character-driven drama nor disaster movie fans, the latter of whom will be disappointed by the relative lack of cinematic mayhem. Oct 27, 2021 Full Review Rex Reed Observer Written and directed with an overload of talent by Lindsay Gossling, it rarely falters and leaves a viewer grateful for a whirlwind of character-driven suspense and humanity instead of the usual Hollywood cliches. Rated: 3/4 Oct 26, 2021 Full Review Kat Hughes THN Uncomplicated and undemanding, 13 Minutes is a fine way to while away an afternoon. Rated: 3/5 Jan 17, 2022 Full Review Rich Cross Starburst What's odd about the film's finale is the lack of interest that it has in the themes of redemption or renewal. Rated: 2/5 Dec 1, 2021 Full Review Glenn Dunks Glenn Dunks If Gossling was trying to say something about diversity in the mid-west as I suspect she was, the cringey dialogue needed to be far less on the nose and her characters not as frustratingly silly.
