The film follows artist/film director, Rod Webber, and his satirical presidential campaign and the tumultuous protests of 2020. Rod Webber merrily trolls the 2020 Presidential election accompanied by Lauren Pespisa (The Hacker Wars) and Vermin Supreme (From the Internet). When George Floyd is murdered, Webber straps on his gas mask to give a first-hand account of the tumultuous and often brutal protests which erupt across the country. The film concludes with Stop The Steal, January 6th, and Webber's legal victory over Donald Trump in his civil suit. The film includes interviews with Noam Chomsky, Jello Biafra, Daryle Lamont Jenkins, Michael Moore and about a dozen 2020 candidates.

This documentary is a truly impressive culmination of all the momentous events that occurred in 2020, many of which we are still reeling from. Rod Webber and his team manage to find the perfect balance between lightheartedness and stark seriousness. It's a great opportunity to process what we as a society have been through these past two years, through the lens of fearless — and hilarious — people on the front lines of these events. Highly recommend.

Congratulations on reviving the Yippie tradition. Principled respect for Bernie and none for the Biden - great stuff. And then there's the street fighting man, street battles and all the brave stunts. You're great and so is the documentary. Looked like Palestine to me, same munitions.

Over the top and intense, Dumpster Fire encapsulates one of the most challenging times in modern U.S. history. If you've been hiding from the headlines, avoiding reality, this does a great job of putting it all out there for you to see.

It's a well made and important documentary. While it was hard to watch because it covered so many horrors of that nightmare of a year, I laughed, enjoyed the music, and continued to watch through tears. Keep doing the hard and necessary work, Rod and crew, and stay safe.
