It was a very soothing experience for me. The movie elegantly presented the literal family's sacrificial traits alongside real-time problems like health issues, college fees, marriage, and doing unpleasant jobs for family sustenance. The agony and hopelessness (sometimes) were worth traumatising any feeling seeking an audience. That dialogue by the protagonist's father, played by R. Sarathkumar—"I am a failure, Papa"—think about myself, once—such script, acting, and dialogues were a great deal to touch upon. Lest we forget the slowed and somewhat derailed storyline and screenplay in the second phase of the second half of the movie. Otherwise, it is a masterpiece.
