We don’t have to worry about a bunch of super-crazy shenanigans, even though there are a few. There is just enough drama to build the story and make the relationship feel unique and dynamic. I actually really enjoyed the entirety of this movie. I thought it was fun, and I think the casting was great as well. The characters don’t have you completely focused on the negativity that can sometimes come with romance movies. Instead, you get to see the relationship develop between a woman who hasn’t been in a relationship for more than 10 years and the person who enters her life. Overall, I thought this was a decent film, and I enjoyed it enough to recommend it. The story keeps you curious, which makes it more enjoyable because you get to experience the positivity along the way. I think it’s fun, engaging, and easy to watch. I went in expecting pure dating-disaster comedy and walked away surprisingly good. The friendships are the real heart of this film.
