Nikhat Kazmi The Times of India Surely, there has to be a better way to resolve the ills of the world in contemporary cinema than resort to cliches. Wish the director and story writer had found a more realistic resolution to a real problem. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 28, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Sara Ok ... so this guy I really liked my freshman year of high school finally took notice of me and wanted to take me out on a date. I met him at the movie theater and film he picked happened to be Hostel. I knew nothing about this movie, but boy did I find out quick that it wasn't a light hearted feel I was going for on date night. I realize now that I should have seen this as a red flag. Dude digs torture cutter up films? Fucking weird. But instead we ended up dating for 5 or 6 years and the relationship took at least 4 or 5 years off my lifespan. If your daughter gets invited to a movie involving body mutilation, cutting of limbs or the despairing screams of innocent beings being tortured for fun - tell her she better dump that guys ass before he unwraps a condom. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Valok P Much like of the reboots, Hostel not only is a significant downgrade from Hostel (2005) but also skimps on many of the elements that made it good. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Paxton's lovable nature kept me on the edge of my seat for this horror. Tarantino keeps you guessing at every turn in the first move of the hostel trilogy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member pretty good alternative to saw Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was alright. Not the best, not the worst. The storyline was very confusing, fortunately there was a second and third part; Would not have understood the plot otherwise.
