Audience Member It was interesting finding out about Julian Assange and his early years. The performance by racheal griffis was sensational and Callan mcauliff as Julian Assange was a great casting choice. I could watch it again and again and so I will Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting. Don't really know a lot about Julian or wiki leaks, so this was a good introduction to his early life. He certainly had a difficult upbringing with his mum getting them involved in a cult. Then his childhood years on the run from it. This mostly shows how he starts out as a hacker. It also shows his relationship with his then girlfriend and becoming teenage parents. The movie ends at this period with his first arrest, so could easily make a part two to this. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It Means Well, But Misses The Mark As A Hit Story. More Like An Episodic Australian Soapie Than A "True-To-Life" Bio-Flick..Surprised It Managed To Garner The Services Of Afew Big-Name Actors.. Not One To Be Remember For. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This film explores Assange's background, motivations and first brush with the law which is great for those like myself who weren't aware of them. However, the attempt to make a thriller out of the associated police investigation or to dramatise the breakdown of his relationship with the mother of his child is rather feeble. The epilogue tells us he was a single father for 10 years following a bitter custody battle despite the film depicting him as an absent father to his newborn child as he pursues his obsession with revealing the truth. Also, no-one in his family appears to work yet Assange sets up home with his pregnant 17 year old girlfriend and has a fine line of computer paraphernalia with the mystery of how they earn an income (the dole?) never explained, Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Film parlant principalement de l'enfance de Julian Assange, fondateur de WikiLeaks , intéressant pour ceux qui s'intéresse au sujet mais sans plus Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Joanne Laurier World Socialist Web Site Underground is intelligently done. The fast-paced storyline is aided by outstanding performances.
