The film doesn't build arguments likely to persuade viewers who don't already share Brooks' views. Other documentaries cover slices of the same territory with greater depth. Go to Full Review

09/17/2019 Libertarian propaganda film. See more 09/08/2019 ...no mention of monopolies, and pay to play.... a feel good story about the way the world...doesn't exist. See more 09/06/2019 Not sure what the central position is, but it seems like it's a generic defense of capitalism and America (as an ideal). The narrative feels desperate in the attempts to circumnavigate or not address the inequities of modern "capitalism" or the human tendencies to push capitalism (and socialism) toward cronyism/kleptocracy. At its best the movie grapples with happiness and quasi-spirituality transcending economic thought. At its worst it's propaganda piece for the status quo. See more 09/05/2019 Phenomenal, must watch See more 08/31/2019 Inspirational! Uplifting and bipartisan! Absolutely amazing and highly recommended! See more 08/24/2019 Nothing but a propaganda film funded by the American Enterprise institute, a right wing think tank, which is funded by multinational corporations. Their goal is to scare people away from democratic socialism in favour of the current "business as usual," exploitive capitalism. See more Read all reviews
