David Lewis San Francisco Chronicle Every single official comes off as genuine and patriotic, and as people who cared about their country. Clearly, there is some legacy-shaping going on here, but that's what public officials do. Rated: 3/4 Sep 3, 2021 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said The doc is powerful and for some may be triggering. For those too young to know about 9/11, it's essential viewing and for those who can't forget, also essential. Dec 3, 2021 Full Review Stephen Silver Splice Today Useful as a tick-tock of the day, but mostly represents an exercise in score-settling and butt-covering by various Bush-Cheney veterans Rated: 2/5 Sep 17, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Matt H Very good documentary. I really thought it was fascinating. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Charles H This is a stylish and entertaining doc that shows the true history behind the events that happened on September 11, 2001 for the generation that experienced it, while also providing new information to the generation learning about it in school. Overall: 8/10, it's over-the-top, sure, but also effective. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/05/23 Full Review isla s I thought this was an interesting documentary about a day that has received an awful lot of attention and of which there are a lot of other documentaries about. I thought it stood out perhaps more than other such shows because it has 'talking head contributions' from such people as the then President George W. Bush (jnr.) and Condoleeza Rice. I felt it was quite insightful to hear the reactions of the staff to what they could find out about what had happened during different times of the pivotal day. This is worth a watch, yes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A clear and gripping documentary that benefits from remarkable access to people and photos from that chaotic and frightening day. It won't change your mind on what happened afterwards, but it did leave me with more compassion for the people involved and the circumstances in which they were working. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review bruno l This really was a look inside the bunker. Turns out the TV and phone reception onboard Air Force One was spotty at best and the bunker under the White House was overwhelmingly out of date. They were expecting mission control from Independence Day and they got the bunker from Terminator 3. Interesting to see it all unfold from Bush's viewpoint. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An incredible step-by-step account of 9 11. The footage never fails to shock and understanding what the President was thinking and had to go through that day is well worth a watch.
