Audience Member A Better You gives you its world view from the get go. This comedy focuses on the people struggling to overcome the barriers, many of which self generated, that are hindering them from being happy. Brian Huskey places Dr Ron, a hypno therapist, whose practice starts picking up just as his marriage is bottoming out. As he struggles to comes to terms with this he latches on to a handyman (Horatio Sanz), for friendship. But as he he is blind to his own short comings with his wife, hilariously shown in couples counseling with his estranged wife (Morgan Walsh) and a frustrated psychologist (Joe Lo Truglio), he plainly doesn't see the actual dynamics between himself and his part time employee. Throw in a bunch of uptight neighbors, patients who mirror Dr. Ron's downward spiral, children that he can't relate to and you have a light hearted sad comedy. The cast is chocked full of excellent comedic talent that you will be sure to recognize who keep its mood elevated despite the dark clouds that are ever present. A slice of life that you will be happy you bit into. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
