Kristen Maldonado Pop Culture Planet A Biltmore Christmas! seamlessly weaves the glamour of old Hollywood into the world of Hallmark. The Biltmore Estate is a stunning backdrop, while the time travel aspect gives this film a wonderful balance of freshness and nostalgia. Dec 2, 2023 Full Review Maddy Casale Decider Between the story, characters, and backdrop of the actual gorgeous Biltmore Estate, itself, this was a very unique kind of Hallmark movie that felt both nostalgic and current, and definitely seemed to be imbued with plenty of Christmas magic. Nov 28, 2023 Full Review Gissane Sophia Marvelous Geeks Media It’s topped with dazzling performances, gorgeous set designs, amusing banter, and a narrative that simultaneously feels refreshing and comforting. Giorgio G I am really no sucker for Christmas movies as they are generally all the same, thus I normally give them a big miss. But occasionally I stumble into one (which is terribly easy as two channels on my cable TV package show them 24/7 all year round), and once in a while there is one that just stands out, like this one, with a very different story, preventing me from changing channels within a few minutes. This flick is sweet, like all of them, but with a time swap twist, and a very surprising ending. 6/10 points! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/25 Full Review Alances N I literally created this account just so I could say I HATE how much I LOVE this movie. Beginning to end. And I’m not a big fan of Hallmark offerings!!! Please please please watch this for me. Seen it already? Watch it again. Didn’t like it the first time? Try again. Thank you to EVERYONE who contributed to this movie for my new favorite cozy romantic movie! 🥹🫶🏻🎄 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review DeAnna W I watched this bc of Joy Lenz. Big one tree hill fan so I've been catching up on her films. This one was my favorite so far! Loved everything from the 40s. Highly recommend Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review SkyRo P "A Biltmore Christmas" is a Hallmark film released in 2023, featuring Bethany Joy Lenz in the leading role. This movie offers a fresh perspective on a Christmas tale, intertwining themes of love and creativity. It follows an actress and a screenwriter on a journey to reinvent a cherished holiday classic. Throughout the story, the protagonist embarks on a personal quest to discover what Christmas truly means to her, particularly after grappling with her feelings about the holiday. However, I didn’t find the film particularly enjoyable or engaging. I struggled to stay invested and, at times, felt the urge to fast-forward through scenes because the pacing felt slow. While I appreciate the attempt to introduce the screenwriter angle, it didn’t bring any new creative elements to the story. Instead, it felt somewhat formulaic and lacking the authentic spirit of Christmas, leaving me underwhelmed. If you enjoy this kind of movie, it might be worth a watch, but personally, I didn’t find it entertaining. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/25/24 Full Review Santiago S Great Chisrtmas movies are hard to find, and Biltmore Christmas is one of them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Susan A Every year my daughters and grand- daughters make me watch Hallmark-style holiday movies with them. That style of movie never holds a candle to the classics I've loved and watched for decades; I haven't cared for most of them and would never deign to write a review. However, A Biltmore Christmas was different. This movie is an unexpectedly touching film that stands out from the usual contemporary holiday fare. The clever story with its old-fashioned noir-style take and delightful characters creates a nostalgic and timeless feel. It's family-friendly romance that is light and warm, and the ending made it a memorable movie I would add to my list as a new "classic" holiday movie.
