Steven Y Didn't catch up the first time watched it until it blew my mind when I watched it again, countless times to watch it again and again since my teenage. A sad love story told by a comedy, despite the so-called professionals perspectives, it always touched you as a common people. Joker lands 500 years in the past, and finds out he will become Monkey King. He falls in love with a new female character, throwing out the old ones. There is a briefly funny body swapping plotline that quickly goes nowhere, and then a small action scene at the end with Joker becoming Monkey King.
