The jokes are corny and sometimes beyond good spirited laughs. The bouncing between absurd and well thought out was pretty good. The acting was pretty decent. The special effects were fairly primitive. The motifs of Dickens novel are prevalent throughout the movie. I think this film was pretty good for a b Christmas movie. It has a wonderful mixture of funny, and serious segments, which all mix together as one wonderful tale! I highly recommend watching this movie. Michele Simms really knows how to do comedy and is a hoot to watch, but the entire ensemble was like a stocking full of tasty Christmas candy. There was a lot of rapid-fire slapstick mixed with compassionate heartfelt moments. I immediately watched it a second time to see all the performances again.
