      Ian W Why did they make this stupid movie. From script, plot, direction to set design and costume it was of a poor level. Pretty actors are never enough no matter how good or how well they try when pre-production is naff and its all just pantomime and other actors ae simply terrible. This Christmas Truce film is about a fabricated incident during WW2 - and while the film was meant to make you feel good, the fairy-tale ending was a bit much to swallow.
