Audience Member Yet another film where I don't understand its low rating. This is a surprisingly beautiful, sad and entrancing based-on-true events story. The actress that played Rosemarie (Nina Hoss) was absolutely gorgeous, winning, and likeable...even during her dislikeable moments I couldn't take my eyes off her. The movie itself was done with such flare that I found myself spellbound, and dreading what was eventually going to be her fate. Wonderful movie. If you go for the bad... There is plenty, starting by the effects. Some thoughts, and humor are the good sides of the movie. It is not to far from feelings you might find among people not to far from you. I saw it to practice my german, and yeah, there were non WWII aspects debated.
