Newlyweds Cliff (Steve Zahn) and Cydney (Milla Jovovich) are celebrating their honeymoon by hiking through a secluded region of Hawaii. Utterly wafer-thin fluff – thinking too much, trying to retroactively fit its twist into the film's earlier moments, or discern motives and intention, will cause the whole thing to dissolve. A Perfect Getaway is a trashy, brain-relaxing treat.

I’m kinda surprised at the ratings. I’m also disappointed that I don’t remember hearing about the film when it was released. I was super sick starting the year of its release and this is a wonderful window into what the world was doing when I withdrew

I love movies with a twist (or 2, or 3 twists). If done right, it really makes it worth it. Some people don't have the patience, so they reject it. Others don't have the mental capacity, and prefer images just thrown at their eyeballs, with no thought involved. This hit me just right, and I think deserves higher ratings than many impatient or vapid people might give

I can watch this movie over and over!!! The first time is super thrilling with a twist. When you watch it the 2nd, 3rd.4th… it’s still amazing!! I’m watching it tonight, and it still keeps me on my toes!!!

Surprised how low this movie is rated. This is a pure entertainment flick with some good twists, nice dialogue and a great cast of characters and actors bringing them to life. For me, it's just a great feeling flick that gives you exactly what you expect when going to the movies.
