It’s all so anodyne that the also-obligatory girl-gets-mad-at-hunk plot turn before the love-conquers-all finale feels like being shaken awake during a dream of drowning in butterscotch sunsets. Go to Full Review

Charming, cute and fairly satisfying, it follows the formula for Netflix branded content that’s typically reserved for their holiday films, going down smoothly and pleasing the palate. Go to Full Review

A Perfect Pairing is a reshash of everything we have seen in rom-coms but is charming anyway. Go to Full Review

I know I shouldn't expect much from these Netflix romcoms but this one was a snooze. Go to Full Review

Jackie O @VioletGem Jan 2 I began watching this on a whim and did not have high expectations, but I have to say I truly enjoyed this film! Victoria Justice was genuinely adorable and likable as a main character, and I was surprised how likable Adam Demos was as well. The plot, while trope-y, didn’t feel tired or completely predictable in the usual rom com way. It was well cast, well shot, and the characters felt genuine, making the story build a good steady pace all around. I even laughed out loud a couple of times, which I also did not expect. This movie made my cold heart feel a little warmer after I watched it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a to watch a simple feel good romance flick. See more jim t Sep 25 Meets all rom com criteria including the hunk who can' t quite button up his shirt and the clueless spunky adorable heroine. Dialogue is clever and appropriately cheesy. Highly recommended for fans of the genre. Others, sorry you won't get it. See more Doug C @Dougcrice Jul 25 This is a formula movie, but the lead actress behaves so stupid in the movie that it's frustrating to watch. She's an executive, she's supposed to be more intelligent. I didn't finish. See more petrs l Jul 6 Absolutely adorable! Finally, a great romantic story without horrible betrayals and violence. The two actors are gorgeous and great performers, the story is great and keeps you engaged, and it is nice to see the countryside of another country. The relationship of the main character, the girl, with her dad is strong and healthy (no crooked issues) and it is nice to see an all American romance between the US and Australia. See more Matthew R Jul 3 The most corny and unbelievable movie I have ever seen. I made an account and am writing my first movie review because I am dumbfounded that anyone would would actually believe Justice’s act and the guy was the typical ‘shut up and take your shirt off’ stand in. 2010’s ‘Stomp Clap and Hey,’ ‘Two guys with a crazy idea and a $30 burger joint’ days are over and we’re all collectively getting over the cringe. On a lighter note I’m sure Justice could probably be a better fit as a villain and Adam just needs to be some war movie extra handing a general his notes. See more Len P Mar 13 Ridiculous script by artistic city dwellers on a low budget, that have no idea of practical country life. There is no sheep “station” in Australia (Qld) with a wine growing enterprise and this sort of scenery that would be 200 kms from the nearest neighbour … more like 5 kms. Appears to be filmed in the Logan River Valley / “Scenic Rim” area of SE Qld, just inland of the Gold Coast … a semi-tourist area. An experienced station hand (farm worker) that persists up a hill in a Toyota ute that is obviously overheating … until it fails, would have been instantly dismissed from any farm. Next day as a farm hand with full make-up and jewellery ? Token temporary sheep yards set up on a mowed lawn ? Wooden roofed enclosure for a pet sheep with a name sign ? Then It morphed from a rom com to slapstick comedy with cringey silly sheep jokes about 25 mins in. Brown Snake …. a harmless python. Much other cringe worthy moments - a film editors nightmare. The script was the worst component. Lead actress given corny dull lines - contrived, contributing to little chemistry between the lead actors. Perhaps a problem of mediocre direction, camera work and background music. Corny cliché ending. Barely a morning TV movie. See more Read all reviews
