It doesn’t over do non scary jumpscares and actually builds good suspensions with a good plot twist. The perfect down-shirt camera angle, the random naked chick and random spicy Lady scenes were over the top. At certain points, you're like oh yeah there's a movie going on. As someone else said, it's a mix up of different tropes. Is it a ghost? Is the ghost a doll? Ooh what a twist the daughter wasn't real and the unnecessary lesbian was a ghost or something maybe. I rarely write reviews, but I'm only writing this in the hope that you don't waste a night watching this terrible movie. The script and acting were just bad. This movie wasn't scary or suspenseful at all. The plot either didn't exist or just made no sense. None of the characters get developed, there is almost no point to the movie. It is such a poorly written and poorly acted indy movie. I watched it because there was a fairly high audience score, but after watching the movie I really think those reviews are fake because I don't understand how you could watch this movie and leave a good review.
