The coincidence proves too much for investigators, who find arsenic in Emily's system, and Henry goes on trial for murder, facing the death penalty.       nick s Wonderful acting. Particularly enjoyed Rachael Kempson's performance. Strong storytelling with great dialogue and creative story motifs. Just thought the ending could have been a little stronger. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Marty H A very classy film all around,from the dialogue,script and acting,specifically Jessica Tandy who in my opinion gave an Oscar worthy performance. Based on a short story by Aldous Huxley with screenplay written by Huxley himself.Not sure why I've never heard of this great noir...recommended.
