Denny S Here are two comments about the film: The New York Times brief review of "Abbott and Costello Go To Mars": "It's about time". In the early 70s, a writer friend was watching this film on TV with Bud Abbott. About halfway through the film, Abbott turned to the writer and said, "This isn't even funny". Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review steve d One of the weakest in the series. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member For me the weakest of the Abbott and costello films with a early small appearance of Anita ekberg Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this was one of A&C's better films they did in the 1950's and almost on par with the best movies they did in the 1940's (their heyday), the scenes involving the bank robbers and them in Mardi Gras (they thought they were in Mars) were classic, this film is a lot better than their previous few films, I give "Go To Mars" a 7/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The first time I saw this was in a movie theater. It was either at the Des Plaines theater or at the Portage. I can't remember which. It was for a monster show that Big John was running. #SloppyJoes Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member fun movie, no one actually goes to Mars, just new Orleans and Venus. "I am with you" got a little annoying. struggled with explaining to my 5 year old why they wanted to bring all the women from Venus back home...
