With a more streamlined script, or even fewer characters and more developed relationships, "Abe" could have made a real impact. As it stands, there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Go to Full Review

A great measure of "Abe"'s success is that it made me hungry. More than that, it's the first movie in quite some time to make me smile. Go to Full Review

The movie is apparently aimed at younger viewers with its clean, simplistic message of unity, but it's doubtful many kids (or adults) would want to sit through those tiresome shouting matches that overwhelm the film's other flavors. Go to Full Review

It’s an enjoyable watch, but it’s missing that one ingredient that could take it to the next level. Go to Full Review

[Abe] is a palatable cinematic snack but makes a few rookie mistakes in its presentation. Go to Full Review

Anchored by an appealing performance by [Noah] Schnapp, Abe is an emotionally genuine movie that's worth seeking out if you like stories about people chasing their dreams despite dealing with a lot of personal turmoil. Go to Full Review

Catsgo K @Catsgo_ Dec 11 This movie was honestly a replacement as my top favorite movies. It shows the struggles of trying to hold up two families together that have a bad history given by their religion and nationality. This movie also shows the love and talent into cooking, while it shows online bullying, and trying to impress your family. This movie made me tear up a lot and it was fantastic! I wish to hear more content of Abe :) See more 08/31/2023 Might be a tear jerker? A great film! See more John B 07/24/2023 I enjoyed this movie & the story it told about a young boy and a passion for learning to cook along with trying to satisfy his family and the variety of religious backgrounds they came from. It show the pressures as parents that we impose on our children sometimes along with the fact that they can see & hear us when we fight. See more 08/20/2021 It's a beautiful charming story about a 12 old who has more wits, love, compassion and brain than his whole religiously and culturally split and confronted family (Jews/Muslims/Palestinians). Too bad that this world has few of his kind and endless numbers of people like his grandparents. See more daniel h 02/01/2021 why cant everyone just get along? See more Read all reviews
