The package has a nasty little swagger that makes it a nice counterpoint to all the holiday cheer coming our way. Go to Full Review

Director Alex Winter and screenwriter Michael M.B. Galvin combine for a pitch-perfect black comedy that has a nifty satirical edge, inverting the movie convention of discovering that the kids are monsters. Go to Full Review

If you're seeking something funky, funny, and charmingly chaotic, Adulthood delivers. Go to Full Review

…Alex Winter's Adulthood is a smart comic thriller that should have a healthy half-life on streaming, with familiar faces in a twisty-turning narrative that delivers plenty of dark and dangerous moments of frisson…. Go to Full Review

A film that doesn’t deviate too far from the familiar path, but great chemistry amongst all the cast make it a pleasurable watch. Go to Full Review

A character-driven approach to the crime caper, which doesn’t let viewers forget that it’s focused on amateurs, Adulthood occasionally flounders but is, overall, a fun watch. Go to Full Review

Greg T @GreggT 19h This is a fun, sneaky little noir. At turns funny as hell, vicious, and quite sad. I had a great time with it. See more R J 2d I love Josh Gad & the movie starts off good while having a good premise so I thought it would have been good but it just died like everyone in the movie. It seemed less funny as the film went on yet the plot was less serious & more zany the further you get through the plot so you'd think the comedy would ramp up. The direction was just lost. The plot if the mother+father truly did the murder, the detective actually being suitable at her job, Megans family being relevant - each sub plot fell into obscurity replaced by a generic formula of who must they kill next, rinse & repeat. It eventually feels so forced when they randomly go to kill their own cousin who never knew for sure if they killed anyone, had no evidence, & would never sell them out anyway (which he even says, before they kill him)... yeah it just gets cringe. -It would have been better if it was more reminescent to those 90's films that were purposely over the top & not realistic if the comedic element was there. See more Hilary S Nov 13 We came in blind to this and had a ball. It's one of those movies that twists the knife from the beginning and doesn't let up. A fantastic group of actors who are all in top form. At turns hilarious, suspenseful and sad. See more Jon W. @Lastnameswood Nov 12 I redownloaded this app just to reiterate how pointless and non linear this movie was. From the beginning it was a good premise, and had potential. But this movie felt like I was having a weird fever dream and nothing was making sense. After each murder the movie got weirder, and the ending, where was the lead up to this behavior? Panic attacks? The subtle mention of the parents and not to mention the only time we see the descriptions of their father is when the older brother finds the gun. In the description it said the parents had dark secrets. This could’ve been a drama or a more serious movie but instead I’m on here complaining. I will say Anthony Carrigan was great. It felt so unnecessary and unresolved just killing him. And then proceeding on with their life. Besides the extremely unrealistic detective work by the police. This movie felt like they had a good story and lost the plot half way through. See more Anderson M Oct 21 I found it surprisingly moving as well as hilarious. And great to see Kaya doing comedy. The whole cast is aces. See more Mirza M @mirzabaig890 Oct 21 'Adulthood' is a dud suburban neo-noir dark comedy that loses itself half way through. See more Read all reviews
