Audience Member The movie was BAD, and not in a good way. Not much else to say, other than a waste of 1:28 minutes... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A good all round British romp with a bit of sci-fi mystery thrown in for good measure - tremendous fun Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Plodding and stupid, After Death has some interesting possibilities in its set-up but becomes a sentimental, cheesy piece of horroresque crap. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I was surprised and delighted by the little twists and turns in this well-acted story of family dysfunction & reconnection through death. The action builds slowly, but draws you in organically as you get to know the characters, like reading a good book. Then things start to get weird. The mix of ordinary family dynamics with themes of the spirit world feels right in the context of a recent death, but there's an offbeat, bizarro supernatural sci-fi element that takes the film to a different place altogether, yet never quite loses sight of the fear and love at the core of each character - living and dead - and in the family as a whole. Unorthodox and deliciously, Britishly, idiosyncratic - loved it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I think this film is brilliant. It has a bit of everything. It's funny, touching, full of intrigue and well acted. It has the feel of old style science fiction. I would recommend to everyone. I love it.
