People were forced to leave Earth a millennium ago to establish a new home on Nova Prime. Now, Gen. Cypher Raige (Will Smith) heads Nova Prime's most-prominent family. This movie, yet having several plot issues, drew inspiration from the writer( Will Smith) as a coming of age story and growth through drama. He gave his son Jaden Smith the role as he did in the Pursuit of Happiness & The Karate Kid which is very "Nepo", but this was Jaden's solo deput which in all fairness needed to provide him with better material. This could have been Jaden's I Am Legend but missed the mark. Overall its a good movie for the sake of showing a fathers love and admiration for his son. Great movie to watch for fathers day. Its worth a rewatch.

This movie is amazing! I watch it a few times 💜 it is great! If a movie doesn’t make a box office it doesn’t mean it’s bad! Not everything is valued in money! Some things are valued in contribution or an impact. Or it can become foundation for something. 💚
