Non si capisce bene cosa voglia diventare Aftershock. I primi minuti sono senza dubbio i migliori, grazie ad una fotografia interessante e piena di luce e colori; la presentazione dei personaggi si sofferma troppo sulle stesse (poche) caratteristiche che vengono alla luce. Una volta arrivato il colpo di scena, ci si divide con scarsi risultati tra survival movie, splatter e gangster.

A decent disaster flick with gore could be a good idea, unfortunately this one fails pretty miserably. When it ends you end up with the feeling of what’s the point of it really?? Along with the horror of an earthquake is bad enough do we really need to gross it up with rapists etc Selena Gomez also turns up for 10 seconds for some reason????

Bitch killed my beautiful beard man. I'm sueing this company. You see beard man had the greatest beard. He travelled across the land to spread his knowledge of beards while wearing his troll face shirt. He was great. He was majestic. Unparalleled. Yet you killed him off. How? Why? He was the messiah. He was meant to bring peace to this land. How can the mighty God Of Beards spread his knowledge of the beard when you killed him? Killing him is the worst sin you could have committed. His being represents the deep emotional value of the human mind, soul, and body. Beard man was the Ying to the Yang. He represent all that was good and evil in this reality. This is such bullshit! How dare you even think of killing him off? I will fucking sue the shit out of you, you devil worshipers!

This could have been a good movie, but it wasn't. The idea was interesting, a combo disaster and horror film, but it missed the mark in every way. The plot was poorly developed and the characters were very thinly explained. I started it and at first thought it was a satire because the acting was so terrible.
