Hemant S A bit of an Indian "Bandersnatch" is this, but mainly in terms of it's tone. An innovative concept at least, and in the dark domain that Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane have always been good with – and I'm glad they have stuck with it. This is definitely not for the conservative viewers, as it is raw and full blooded with free flowing expletives, as the situations would deem. A fictionalized account of an ego clash between Anurag Kashyap and Anil Kapoor in a parallel universe (or is it?), the story arc cuts paths along several real life personas including their own families. Not new to being in an acting role, Anurag does well as himself – possibly channeling himself for most parts of the plot. The stress and tension can be felt in most of the scenes. I only wished the scuffles were a bit more realistic, but they do have an air of hilarity about them – like kiddish wrestling. Anil Kapoor is convincing as he grinds through the city with the other AK; and especially in a self-roasting part. There is of course, the nostalgic reference to "Allwyn Kalicharan" (another AK?) a film that the director had pitched to the actor but never got rolling – of course, back when Anurag Kashyap started swimming against the tide (and he still is). Ample references to nepotism, roasts and an awesome "Lakhan" moment in the spirit of Christmas. Well worth the watch for connoisseurs of crazy Kashyap/Motwane collaborations – and a pair of badass, MoFo AKs going at it with sleeves rolled up. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The Bold Point of this movie is the CONCEPT............. - I cannot judge the movie because the person involve in this is very capable and their old stories is my favorite one......... - vikaram aditya motani directed film i watched with blind faith if he directed something then i surely watched the series or movies............ - In this film is there Anurag Kashyap and i am so thrill to watched this and some how he justifies it not to great but also not too bad.......... - I hope something more with the type of people associated with this project............ - I only watch this series because i am in love with Anurag Kashyap and Vikaram Aditya Motwani ............but this series is end up with Anil Kapoor Family Affair which i am hugely disappointed........... - I know Anil Kapoor wins but i do not find joy of his winning but rather i am upset the character developed by Anurag Kashyap he is very Aggresive and then he defeated very easily - What the .......... - Sorry to say but I am All Anurag Kashyap Team.............. - This series is mor of redemption of anil kapoor THEN the concept of AK vs AK................ - Now the summary: Whether you should watch it or not ......... - The concept is fascinating but if you are Anurag Kashyap Fan then i recommend not to watch it ( the reason I mention above ). Some scenes went on too long and in the context of the film, didn't seem required. Also, a few plot holes / questions exist.
