Cheri C I thought it was good but left the watchers hanging. So, she was crazy? Maybe her boyfriend too or just a manipulater, did he break the window and steal the bike? Did the neighbors because of the note content? Did she kill her Dad? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review Roberto L Maybe spoilers, but I'm confused, so maybe not. The premise was good. But I'm never sure what happened. Was she crazy or was everyone in on something? So she moves to a new place and doesn't want an alarm. She freaks out when this older couple who are like her parents they suggest she get an alarm. Then she gets robbed and does. Now the rest of the movie is still a mystery as I have no idea who did what. But the alarm freaks her out. She's paranoid about the people who are like her parents looking at the code and freaks out. She freaks out at the boyfriend who lets the repairman have the code. She freaks out when her pseudo-parents stop by. She freaks out to the neighbors, about the neighbors and about the lack of neighbors, which was surprisingly unrelated to the alarm...likely an oversight on my behalf. The parental people get her a dog which serves as another alarm until the real alarm goes off and scares the dad who lets the dog out causing her to freak out. She freaks out at the installer of the alarm's brother about her bike and then maybe the installer himself, or maybe not because both she and I are confused about who is who and what the earring has to do with anything. She runs away to her distant former home in a montage to freak out at her former therapist who magically has the boyfriend show up and take her back where she resets the alarm. She changes the code after freaking out about seeing the boyfriend with the installer. Then she freaks out about the boyfriend not having the code so she tries to inactivate it. It may be already inactive, so she freaks out. She hits the panic button and freaks out about the boyfriend wanting her to shut it off. Then she kills him with the alarm, gets freaked out and the police show up because of the alarm and this ends the movie with her hyper freaked out because for the first time in the movie the stupid alarm actually summoned help. It was surprisingly light on cursing, though there was sex. I feel no need to watch again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I wish it was more suspenseful and scary and less chatty and focus on the break-in even though that's what this movie is about, I wish it was changed a little bit Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually liked this film--very impressive debut for Aidan Turner. The pace is slow, but for a reason--it is called suspense building. In the end--I did not see the plot twist coming. Brava Ruth Bradley for a performance that scared the tar out of me! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't know why I liked it. It's not very original, yet probably slightly different than similar stories. But it kept me watching and I feel sorry for Molly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I love foreign movies.
