She doesn’t name names, but the details are vivid and the punchlines smart. It’s tightly assembled and comes with some reassuring guardrails. Go to Full Review

Not all divorcées will find themselves as sought-after as Wong did in the immediate aftermath, and almost none will turn their saga into an account this entertaining. “Single Lady” is far from a how-to guide, but it’s a riveting testimonial. Go to Full Review

Wong’s utter lack of vulnerability and her cheeky swagger is cheered by the theatre audience because it is so brazen and because it sounds different... Go to Full Review

her passionate parsing of oral sex every which way for at least 40 minutes. She’s one tough cookie. Her routines are meant to shock but I find her bravery admirable and hard-won insights illuminating to a degree. Go to Full Review

Ali Wong adds too much ego to this performance. That may have been FOR the performance, but it left a salty flavor in my mouth. Go to Full Review

matthias s @Thescreenasvor Jun 14 **Review: Ali Wong: Single Lady – 3.5 Stars** Never seen Ali Wong’s stand-up before, but I’ve always liked her as an actress—funny, sharp, and totally herself. *Single Lady* surprised me in the best way. Her stage presence is magnetic, and her storytelling? Hilariously personal and painfully relatable. The dating bits had me cackling, and her oddly passionate crush on King Triton? Comedy gold. Honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. If only the crowd matched her energy—felt a bit dead at times. Still, Ali carried the show with ease. Smart, raunchy, and totally worth the watch. Daddy Triton, beware. See more Jason L May 7 Misogony is alive and well as you can see in the people giving this comedy special bad reviews. She's hilarious, only pious pearl clutchers and woman haters will think otherwise. WHEN will we appreciate comedy whether its from a man or a woman....... See more Anna W Mar 23 Ali brings her A game every time. Every. Single. Time. See more Marcus A Jan 12 tasteless and boring, if this was a male comedian they would try to cancel him for this. See more Daniel H 12/14/2024 Loved her other Netflix specials but this one was far from those. It really is the same joke just recycled multiple times. Watched about 30 minutes of it and turned it off. Just felt very forced and not true to what made her great. See more Sarah L @slayman48 11/27/2024 Felt very one note. It’s the same joke in a different font over and over again. See more Read all reviews
