11/18/2020 This is not a "crime and punishment" story, not a morality play; it's a romantic comedy. Kitchen is great as is Sophie, who gives the camera some fabulous looks. Marcey is acting as a waitress at the gathering, but is in fact a public servant. Her attempts to discover whether the death was an accident or murder form the brunt of the movie, directed with aplomb by David Richards (IN DENIAL OF MURDER).
