A family vacation is anything but restful when young Tom Pearson (Carter Jenkins), his siblings, and his cousins encounter an invading force of tiny aliens who are bent on conquering Earth. The aliens gain control of Ricky, the boyfriend of Tom's sister Bethany (Ashley Tisdale). Using an implant in his brain, they use him to carry out their plot. When Tom learns that the implant works only on grown-ups, he sees a chance to fight off the invaders -- but only if the adults are kept clueless.

Ben Kenigsberg Time Out Rated: 1/5 Nov 17, 2011 Full Review Philippa Hawker The Age (Australia) You get the feeling that the Aliens in the Attic video game probably has more to offer. Rated: 2/5 Sep 3, 2009 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard The aliens look like cast-offs from a bad Spielberg film and the whole family are boring examples of Hollywood's ordinary Americans. Rated: 2/5 Aug 17, 2009 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Aliens in the Attic is simply your standard issue, paint-by-numbers family film likely to be most successful with smaller children. Rated: 2.5/4.0 Sep 1, 2020 Full Review Nikki Baughan Roll Credits As a piece of cross-generational cinema, Aliens falls rather flat but as a dedicated children's film released into prime school holiday territory, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 29, 2019 Full Review Debbie Baldwin Ladue News OK, it is a little derivative, but the young actors are all very convincing and Robert Hoffman does some terrific physical comedy after his body is commandeered by the alien leader.
