A family vacation is anything but restful when young Tom Pearson (Carter Jenkins), his siblings, and his cousins encounter an invading force of tiny aliens who are bent on conquering Earth. The aliens gain control of Ricky, the boyfriend of Tom's sister Bethany (Ashley Tisdale). Using an implant in his brain, they use him to carry out their plot. When Tom learns that the implant works only on grown-ups, he sees a chance to fight off the invaders -- but only if the adults are kept clueless.

The aliens look like cast-offs from a bad Spielberg film and the whole family are boring examples of Hollywood's ordinary Americans. Go to Full Review

Aliens in the Attic is simply your standard issue, paint-by-numbers family film likely to be most successful with smaller children. Go to Full Review

As a piece of cross-generational cinema, Aliens falls rather flat but as a dedicated children's film released into prime school holiday territory, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Go to Full Review

OK, it is a little derivative, but the young actors are all very convincing and Robert Hoffman does some terrific physical comedy after his body is commandeered by the alien leader. Go to Full Review

K G Oct 13 Souls recommended me to watch this bizarre movie. This was by the the person behind 2005 DreamWorks movies, Mark Burton. Any filmmaker whose surname is Burton would be the most recommended ones. About the weirdness. It kinda lacks originality. It was cliche at times when the [big] boys were playing around with the boyfriend of Bethany Pearson, who is Ricky. I would feel bad for him, until he turned to be bad & he is kind of like Titan from "Megamind". Then the youngest alien cares for the youngest, tropey. Tom Pearson can be smart in other ways like hacking despite failing at math. About the humour: those cliche moments were funny & how the aliens believed kissing was when lips hugged each other while watching Zorro. About the aliens: that animation was a bit bad - why couldn't they get Blue Sky Studios or Rhythm & Hues to animate them? We all agree the movie is never goat & I rank it below a 7/10, but we can watch & enjoy it. See more Ben P Oct 9 Good movie, but nothing too special. Quite a few funny parts, though. See more Greybrother D Oct 3 A fun idea, sunk by a terrible script. Might still appeal to very young or undiscerning children. Good cast. Nothing special about it though See more Read all reviews
